NFL Players should Learn from These Mistakes

The NFL has been much maligned over the course of the past few seasons for its inconsistency in disciplinary process, the varying time-frames of suspensions handed out for crimes and non-crimes alike, and the fact that they were seemingly being lenient on issues surrounding domestic violence.

Well, today might go a long way towards repairing the image of the NFL as a disciplinary practice, as Ezekiel Elliott was served a harsh six-game suspension for alleged (but not convicted) acts of Domestic Violence. Doug Gottlieb explained how it might serve as a wake-up call for the rest of the league moving forward.
