Blown Penalty Calls Deciding Too Many NFL Games

“Why are ‘Judgement Calls’ not reviewable… You can sometimes tell 100% whether or not a foul should have been called.”

-- Clay Travis.

After the 49ers were snake-bitten by the officials in the dying seconds of their heart-breaking loss in Green Bay Monday Night, Clay Travis thinks it’s time for the NFL to alleviate a lot of the late second drama of massive contests by extending its replay reviews.

In what was arguably the turning point of the entire game, Richard Sherman was flagged for an illegal contact penalty on a third and 15 play that had resulted in a sack of Aaron Rodgers with just 43 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter of a tie game. With the penalty nixing the massive defensive stop and the automatic first down being awarded, the Packers needed just three more plays to put Mason Crosby in position to kick the game-winning field goal at the buzzer.

Listen to Clay Travis explain why this bogus idea behind ‘Judgement Calls Aren't Reviewable’ needs to end immediately.
