Green Day, Portugal The Man And Walk The Moon Team Up With Yeti For Charity

When the coronavirus pandemic first hit, music venues were the first to close and will be the last to reopen. As a result, live music is at a standstill, which means those who work in the industry have been unemployed for months now. Bands have been doing what they can to raise money for their crews, and now YETI Coolers is helping the cause.

On Tuesday (August 4), the outdoor gear company launched its "One For The Roadies" auction — a partnership with dozens of artists to raise money for Live Nation's global relief fund for live music crews called Crew Nation. Each musician was sent YETI's newest product — the Roadie¼ Cooler — to personally customize, and now those works of art are being auctioned off, with 100% of net proceeds going to charity.

The auction runs through August 10 and features coolers customized by Green Day's Tre Cool, Portugal. The Man, and Walk the Moon. Bands like The National's packages also include swag like t-shirts, sweatshirts, socks, keychains, and signed records.

If you're not interested in a cooler and just want to donate to Crew Nation, you can do that too. Get more info and see all the artists involved here.
