Chris Broussard Says Knicks Will Still Offer Kevin Durant a Max Contract
Doug Gottlieb: “What does this injury do with Kevin Durant’s future?”
Chris Broussard: “I know a team like the Knicks will still offer him the four-year, $164 million max. You know he’s going to be out a year, but if you’re the Knicks, I would still be willing to offer him the max and wait on him.”

Listen to FS1 NBA insider and Fox Sports Radio host Chris Broussard join The Doug Gottlieb Show to talk about how Kevin Durant’s tragic Achilles tear will affect his free agency, as the league’s most expensive asset may have just had the course of his entire career altered in one play.

Despite the value of Durant taking a massive hit, not only with the fact he’s likely going to miss a full season of basketball next year but also coupled that with the immense fear he’s never going to be the same superstar player again, Broussard still believes the New York Knicks will offer him a max contract.
